Common questions
Is this a real fishing rod or a toy? A real rod. It has a functional reel, standard line, and takes normal hooks and bait. The slingshot launcher replaces overhead casting.
What age is it for? Designed for ages 5-12. Younger children usually manage it after one demonstration.
How far does it cast? Up to 100 feet (30 metres), depending on bait weight.
What's in the box? One catapult rod, one pre-assembled reel spooled with line, and one spare launcher.
